That discounts the hugely disproportionate amounts of time the Tories were in power. Not to mention that the Tories went through a ridiculous number of leaders and reshuffles because of their respective incompetence meaning there were much more opportunities to elect female leadership.

-si- Most private schools are passing the cost in full to parents, so the tax payer will end up picking up the tab for those kids whose parents can no longer afford to send them there. Fuck knows how many that will be.

alistair not many. Private schools represent around 6% of pupils. State schools are now seeing a slowing and reverse of pupil numbers, so the slack can be picked up pretty easily

I think this is the rub.

Most people care about is the impact on their wallet. Understandable, money comes in handy, it dressing it up as a societal concern is mostly deceitful.
