IndustryStandard As my Shropshire mates said to me some twenty odd years ago, ’there are no poor farmers, just look at the cars / 4×4s and look at the reg, they’re all in new motors every year". It’s only anecdotal, but it’s true, I see it every time I’m down there.
Farm workers are very different, and lots of the countryside is dirt poor, but the vast majority of land owners and farm owners will cope I reckon.
