Very bad move pissing off farmers - people responsibile for food production. It’s not a profession many people would want to go into and more importantly something not many people have any idea how to do.
Yes the land might be worth a lot of money but not really as a functional farm. If the land is to be used for the benefit of society for food production then maybe we should give them a break?
A lot of farmers protesting in a lot of countries at the moment. I think they’ve got a point. I’d much rather we give them a tax break than subsidising the likes of BP
