IndustryStandard Phil-McRackin …saw the new trailer for this. Right up my strasse. Hope its as good as the trailers look….
Phil-McRackin Amps seems a little different than that, if it is then hope it’s better than the John Carpenter remake of Village of the Damned. Not one of his better efforts.
Homegrove One of King’s best stories is finally getting an adaptation. Looks like it doesn’t shy away from the violence. Otherwise filming this would have been pointless.
Along_the_Wire Homegrove worried it’s the same director as The Hunger Games - what a load of tripe those films are
gcw Homegrove I think some things best left on a page after watching that. It’s probably King’s best work but that trailer isn’t giving me great vibes
Unbroken1 Homegrove …man I loved that book. Based on the trailer, kinda interested. Along_the_Wire …agreed. Human Traffic was and is a dreadful film.
Along_the_Wire alistair I don’t know what to make of that?! Gets decent reviews and will go and watch it - hope it isn’t one of those Nicolas Cage films.
Homegrove BFI is releasing Human Traffic on 4K Blu ray. I am now wondering how much I would pay for nostalgia. You can’t legally watch said movie in any form in Finland at the moment. Unless you find an old DVD at a flea market.
Along_the_Wire Homegrove Save your money - I saw that on DVD for a second time about ten years after its release - it was fucking awful!
alistair Along_the_Wire I’ll give it a go. Looks like a subversive Point Break? I am sucker for a weird Cage Indie flick. Did you see Pig?
alistair Along_the_Wire yep, excellent film, very funny. My all time fave Cage performance is Leaving Las Vegas. Seen it several times, and it’s still heart wrenching.
Along_the_Wire alistair yeah, cracker. It’s such a shame he just took the money and has done some right old shit.
Along_the_Wire rhouses Never heard of it - on Amazon Prime - will watch that when I get in later. Cheers Rhouses
