Mad_Cyril yeah I love it too. Also people who think it’s incomprehensible surprise me, I had no trouble understanding what happened in it, and I’m pretty dumb. True you had to get to the end of the movie to understand it yeah, but have some patience. One of Josh Brolin’s best performances, and Katherine Waterston gets naked in it.

Millsy this is a bit of into the weeds but there are huge arguments about how Heat originally looked like before Mann started to tinker with it from the first Blu ray-release in 2009. I’d sure would love to see for myself what it actually did used to look like. 😃

The 2018 4K Blu ray looks nothing like the 2009 Blu ray for example when it comes to light and color scheme for example. Yes I own both.

mono-stereo two version, learn to read. Neither is reference quality, but I have mainly watched the 4K-version that’s too dark (literally, not content-wise).

I also have three different copies of Blade Runner. The DVD has the making of doc in the best quality (dunno why it looks worse on Blu ray), the 30th anniversary Blu ray I bought to watch the 1992 Director’s Cut in HD for nostalgia-reasons (that’s the version I watched in the 90s/ early 2000s), and the 4K Blu ray has the 2007 Final Cut in 4K with Dolby Atmos-sound and is the best version of the movie really. Revisionist or not.

I don’t own multiple copies of any other movie besides those two.
