  • It's the forthcoming films and TV thread...innit.

Local megaplex is doing screenings of the following this autumn:
Beetlejuice (before the sequel)
The Terminator (for the 40th birthday)
Gladiator (before the sequel)
Interstellar (for the 10th anniversary)
LOTR-trilogy.

I got tickets for The Terminator and Gladiator, the former probably needs no explanation, Gladiator I missed in the theatres upon it’s release in 2000 and I love it. The opening battle should be awesome in an iSense-room with a huge screen.

Wish the bigger cinemas would do that more often. So many films that I would love to see on the big screen.

Although, I would probably end up sitting next to the cunt who absolutely has to say all of the lines out loud — because obviously no one else would know the lines and find it so impressive.

Homegrove I saw Gladiator two nights on the bounce as I was working away and was bored out of my nut in the hotel room. 🤣

    You’ll love it 🎥

This was rumored from the time the movie was yet to hit theatres. I was one of the 10 people in the world who loved it so now I really need to find 3 hours and 24 minutes to spare.

Salem’s Lot is getting a theatrical release, but only in the UK. Not that you lot seem like the sort to go to the cinema.

There is a brill The Light cinema in New Brighton. Your neck of the woods isn’t it?

Have a look at what they are showing, if you want to go to a cinema.

ehitach2 I able to locate a cinema, I just wouldn’t want to watch anything they are showing. Modern cinema / film is for the most part, shite.

So anyway, what they all have usually is a ‘Rewind’, ‘Explore’ and ‘Iconic’ film or two showing.
