  • It's the forthcoming films and TV thread...innit.

This has been out a while but have you seen it, Alistair?

LT42 As if I’d ever follow one of your recommendations.

    Baby got back!

Think we can now put to bed why Flares has re-emerged.

Thinking of going to see Nosferatu later in the week.

    Which is nice

Looking forward to the new season of Severance tomorrow. Best thing on telly in the last couple of years.

Surely everyones in for Gladiators Series 2 on Saturday

          Milly’s gone full racist!

          • Dan replied to this.

mono-stereo ..gonna watch the last episode of S1 tonight as its been two years….then hopefully me and Mrs IS will have half a clue whats going on in the new series

Awooga’s are for all of god’s children

I did that but it was so good that we ended up watching from the first episode again. So good, loads of stuff I missed on the first watch.

Strong start to the new season.

Nothing like it on TV. Love it. Especially as I work in an office for a large multinational company and they nail the ridiculousness of it all, like at the end of S1 when Milchick was trying to break in and stop Dylan and attempted to bribe him to stop with a coffee cup warmer …..

Warfare-reviews are out, and almost all positive. The negative ones seem to focus on the movie not having a message. Which seems a bit pointless if the idea was to show one battle in real time.

The co-director Ray Mendoza was in that battle.

I’m really excited for this film.

Amps seems a little different than that, if it is then hope it’s better than the John Carpenter remake of Village of the Damned. Not one of his better efforts.

One of King’s best stories is finally getting an adaptation. Looks like it doesn’t shy away from the violence. Otherwise filming this would have been pointless.

Homegrove worried it’s the same director as The Hunger Games - what a load of tripe those films are

Homegrove I think some things best left on a page after watching that. It’s probably King’s best work but that trailer isn’t giving me great vibes

Homegrove Not sure I want to watch it. Thought the book was power.

BFI is releasing Human Traffic on 4K Blu ray. I am now wondering how much I would pay for nostalgia. You can’t legally watch said movie in any form in Finland at the moment. Unless you find an old DVD at a flea market.

alistair I don’t know what to make of that?! Gets decent reviews and will go and watch it - hope it isn’t one of those Nicolas Cage films.

Along_the_Wire I’ll give it a go. Looks like a subversive Point Break? I am sucker for a weird Cage Indie flick. Did you see Pig?
