Smallman1 no I’m not holding tight until October for your complete lack of any useful feedback

elrobertos not much enjoyed the majority

Think I’ve owned maybe five of them and have given them all away. Would much rather he focussed on digging wider and deeper and delivered a MMII style disk. Far more interesting.

Best track on the whole mix for me. Was only available on vinyl though.

Ordered. These have probably been more hit than miss for me, and I’m a sucker for CD releases of dj mixes. I still have a faint hope that GU and Renaissance will magically start churning out mixes like the good old days!

gcw GU seems to have gone full of hits everyone is sick of approach with the last two, Tenaglia and ANNA.

gcw the joy of those old GU and Renaissance mixes is that we can keep on listening to them. They will never produce anything now which “we” will think is great.

Personally I don’t bother with any commercial mixes, and don’t listen to many DJ mixes online by the big name DJs. Listening to mixes by people on this board is so much better and more enjoyable. And every and again I will stick on an old GU etc mix for nostalgia.

I can imagine I will give Digweeds new mix half a listen on Spotify and never listen to it again as per most the other Live Ins

Why would anyone these days pay for a commercial mix when there’s so many decent board mixes and free mixes online is beyond me. Now if they created a mix of more obscure tracks of downtempo into breaks like the first Northern exposure I’d probably buy it.

Don’t think I’ve listened to a single ‘Live In’ CD. Probably won’t change with this one either. Will probably tea leaf a couple of tunes as per…

Five discs? great if your killing time in Pentonville.

Dan and can make a nice blade with the cds after one listen

          That’s the wrong mix
It’s the Vox version digweed plays

I feel like these have turned into a collectors series rather than having any value from actually listening to them.

Bet the ball ache of getting them produced/mastered and the accompanying hoodie/coffee mug/underpants knocked up vs revenue must not be worth it anymore.

If you subscribe to his Mixcloud and go and see him play a few times a year, it’s utterly pointless. Half the records will be old tat when it comes out.
