  • 'In My Heart, I Believe In You' - Tune ID

Old one from Sasha @ Mark Hunt’s. Did this ever get an ID?

Comes in around the four hour, thirty mins mark.

What’s the story behind this mix?

who was mark hunt and how did this mix come into being? Sasha just popped round for a cuppa did he?

benson Dunno, but I reckon you could get all the tracks off this, sort the wheat from the chaff, and have a very strong three hours. Fuckin love all the Auranaut sounding stuff.

benson Resident at Barbarella in Orlando, FL. Think Sasha was doing the NE tour and ended up at his early morning 2nd September 1996…

Amps Not that much of a fanboy! I just really like that era of music so collect from around 93-97 mainly for nostalgia and I find them quite hard to mix with anything outside that period. Just did a mix for JC takeover and had to remaster a few of the oldies to make the mix sound semi-coherent with some of the newer stuff I threw in.

Wasily Fair. I’ve thought about doing it a few times, but decided against it as getting the tracks would be a ball ache. But if you’ve already done the leg work, i’d get stuck in! Go full fan boy!

Wasn’t this where Sasha went back to Mark Hunt’s gaff and did this as an afterparty set. He knew it was being recorded and asked Mark for the recording as he had done some mixes of tracks he quite liked and wanted to have the recording to listen back to them but Mark said no.

Then Sasha lobbed his decks off the table or something???

Or maybe I’ve just made that all up
