I do think the speculation isn’t helpful. I am sure we will get an update as and when and in the meantime he needs time to get better. Whatever it is, it is obviously quite serious. The amount of speculation I have seen on facebook by people who clearly do not know what they are talking about is amazing. All we know is that he has pneumonia.

I am not sure many people are speaking to him at the moment other than close friends and family and if I was ill in hospital I’d not want you lot speculating on my condition. Sorry to sound like an arse but I’m putting my professional hat on for a second.

Agreed. It’s sort of none of our business but being who he is and everyone’s emotional connection to his art its amazing how many are concerned.

I did hear of a development through a ‘close source’ and was going to post it in here but I don’t think he’d want it - all I’m saying is if its true, its dicey as fuck and the possibility of pulling through is all we can hope for, for John.
