Dinosaur Jr.'s Fossils on clear red vinyl from Probe in Liverpool (Button St), I was 13, and already had a feeling I was going to be spending a lot of time and money in record shops.

Mainly bought for this banger:
1st vinyl = Wombling Songs by The Wombles. NOT Remember Youâre a Womble. Wombling Songs was far superior. Obvs.
1st vinyl as a deck owner/ adult was the Junior Vasquez remix of Wavespeech.
ScottBailey My mate was on with Coxy in Germany and Coxy signed his copy of F.A.C.T. Itâs framed in his studio.

Same here. I was that young lad who used to take a carrier bag of 7âł records to all the kids parties on my estate. I had of those record players where you could stack 3 or 4 records on top of each other.
I think mine was The Anfield Rap
Oh God, I think it was ELO. I donât have it any more. It was a terrible thing to lose.
First album I bought?
The Merciless World of Trance.

The original question didnât ask for âfirst respectable vinyl record ever boughtâ, just âfirst vinyl record ever boughtâ.
The second part of your post is redundant and a desperate attempt to save face.
You bought The Wombles. Thatâs it.
Dubman Tapes are a tricky one, they tend to warp easily and become unlistenable if theyâre not used regularly. Nice to have the box n cover for a bit of nostalgia, but youâd need to rip them to keep the music. I backed all my Cream stuff up when I realised some of the tapes were on the fritz within a year or two of being sat still.
The Greece Soundtrack my end. Got it for my 9th birthday.
My mum used to run a pub with a jukebox so had access to untold vinyl when they got replaced - Adam and the Ants, Queen, The Specials, 10cc, Elvis Costello and Status Quo stand out in my memory.
James Bonds Greatest Hits when I was 9 or 10. All the themes tunes + a few extras up to For Your Eyes On!y. Fucking loved it.
