Mad_Cyril Looks like I can’t make this now, commitments up North and all that. Was thinking of seeing about the room at the front of here from a venue perspective (name a coincidence!) https://www.mcandsonslondon.com/
Smallman1 Used to work next door to it, a decent battle cruiser that, used to do knock out Thai food too. Great shout MC.
Mad_Cyril Smallman1 The words piss up and brewery are springing to mind I can’t lie. Smallman1 Used to work next door to it, a decent battle cruiser that, used to do knock out Thai food too. Great shout MC.
Mad_Cyril This place has same beers and food, but is roomier and would be easier to get a table less formally. Think also has football screens https://www.jacksbarlondon.co.uk/
benson Poor timing lads. I’m in the smoke on the 3rd but not 4th. And even worse I’m working till 8pm on the 4th.
rhouses Have a bottle of baileys and 500 ml of jamesons, wondering what to do with it this time around. My salted caramel shakes were a big hit last time, but want to up the ante this year.
IndustryStandard From what i remember there were not many seats inside …..will be baltic sitting outside in December . This place was OK the last few times a met people for the Rugby over the past few months https://www.urbanpubsandbars.com/venues/victory-pub-waterloo Hardly the trendiest, but lots of seating and space . Might be an option ( if a dull one )
Mad_Cyril IndustryStandard Not coming but have put a couple of boozers above that are close to Waterloo / Southwark, have decent beers (not quite Tap level), have food and space (especially the jacksbar one).
ScottBailey I think I’ve recommended the Porterhouse before. Shirley a drink for everyone there. Alas it fell on deaf eyes (awaiting Hugo in 3.2.1.)
RichM Along_the_Wire as long as they have some Jamesons and baileys then Rhouses can suggest a cocktail for everyone
