Funky Basically is you has 1k on Tesla from last year to right now you would be up 6k.

I’d been wanting to invest in Tesla for bloomin’ ages, but didn’t have the cash to do so. So annoying.

Boeing shares are going for a steal. Fill your boots

The press don’t know what to do with him, he doesn’t quite fit any of their boxes. They can’t neatly sum up ‘already rich guy is smarter than most and makes more money, and shows possible signs of genuine altruism, whilst also being a floored human being and calling someone Pedo Guy’

Amps already rich guy is smarter than most and makes more money,

The fact that his father was slightly wealthy is such a dumb stick to beat him with - people who attempt to use it to try and claim that it significantly undermines or discredits what he’s done are just advertising their own stupidity and lack of imagination.

It’s been speculated that his dad was maybe worth in the region of about $5-10million, though of course Elon would not have been able to receive all of that. His dad supposedly invested $28k as part of him starting his first business.

So what? Ultimately, how many people out there have managed to generate a net wealth that is around 30,000x the wealth of their parents?!

For some equivalence for the average nobody who likes to complain about such things out of envy and to try and make them feel better about their own inadequacies, the average net wealth of a US household is about $100k. For someone from such a background to match Elon’s achievement in growth terms, they’d still have needed to have built a net worth of about $2billion. Oh, and maybe their dad might have invested $280. The vast majority of people are unlikely to even achieve 2x the net wealth of their parents, let alone 30,000x.

Amps Sven gifted him a box of the 10 most influential techno records ever, or some shit. I saw the list and it was super suspect.

zackster it seems to have been entitled ‘A Soundtrack for Space Travel’.

Considering the wealth of possibilities that are out there for space-themed electronic music the selection seems incredibly random, but a lot of the choices are decent at least rather than “suspect” (Kraftwerk, Windowlicker, Geht’s Noch, Spastik, Marionette, Knights of the Jaguar).

alistair A crypto currency called SingularityNET pumped hard due to this tweet!

hugopal agree. Seen him live at Sankeys before this was released and he played it. Went on for yonks and just as it was peaking the sound cut out.

started it again after 10 mins and the place went mad.
