Tbf all I need to do is turn up and consume shed loads of lovely wine.
Utter shite
Been fucking ill since the Saturday night before Christmas, started as an awful cough, turned into raging headache, on/off fever, haven’t eaten since Monday. Went down stairs long enough Christmas Day to watch the boy open his presents and then went back to bed. Headache subsiding slowly, fever comes and goes still.
Genuinely looking forward to going back to work when I’m well enough
On the up side, the Mrs hasn’t nagged me about anything in 5 days, so it’s an absolute win

Yeah same here. Was definitely the worst I’ve felt. You can see how it can kill an old person. Will steer clear of Granto for a few weeks

I was ill myself over Xmas. Started feeling nauseous on Xmas Eve and only really back to normal this morning. Didnt partake in Xmas dinner or any alcohol, has probably done me a favour actually!
I went out for 20k on the bike today which may signify I’m starting to come out of it. C19 test was negative. It’s been fucking horrific. I’m off till Thursday now. I should be down the battle cruiser sinking pints. Instead I’m fucking contemplating going to bed to watch a romcom with the mrs.
