Thats nuts. Tickets being only valid until 8am. How does that even work? They started herding people up with a certain color wristband and hoofed them out……..very Acid House

I’m so old the EUR hadn’t even come in when I went to IBZ a few years running in the 90s. Sure tickets must have been about £30 back then. Remember we only did a couple of big nights, KU one year , then Amnesia the year after. All too expensive.

Rest based in San An . Think tickets for Es Paradis were cheap and they always had decent stuff going on. Remember a Journeys by DJ night there once which was superb. Then just random nights in San An / Del Mar / West End .

IndustryStandard it want people getting turfed out at 8am but people leaving as had to get flights. Maybe it’s their fault for not taking into account when the place opened until (which I assume would have been mid afternoon if Carl Cox only started at 9am)

Like you we only went to one or 2 of bigger clubs back in the day, and then found cheaper nights for the rest of the week. Def needed a few nights of supermarket booze and sitting on the beach near Mambo!

IndustryStandard just seen some video from inside and it looks utterly soulless now. The thing I always liked about the clubs in Beefa was that they were different inside, had that Mediterranean vibe going on which was a stark contrast to the clubs back here in Blighty. Pacha was a great example of that. Their new(ish) referb looks just as jank as the new Drumsheds….I mean Manumission one.

ScottBailey Absolutely, across the board though not just Ibiza. Unique spaces are more interesting, and more so if you only go max once a year.

Smallman1 …love it ! @ScottBailey ….does look like some modern faceless techno hall. Must have been a conscious decision to go against the historic vibe of Ibiza, white washed walls, plants, mirrors etc. Sure it will be banged out every night. Looking at the lineup its all corporate techno or that Aussie clown with the silly glasses.

Wonder what Elrow will do. Aren’t they the modern day equivalent of Glam 90s clubs, like Pushca/MoneyPennys ? A big black warehouse isn’t really going to work unless the aesthetics totally change night on night
