seanc80 mono-stereo yea i think the appeal is that its a seminal venue with a bit more of an older crowd that are less annnoying with a better music policy. Having said that Harvey was swinging out of Freddy Mercury’s back windows with Smallman also in the vicinity so not sure how robust that narrative is.
Smallman1 The older crowd at Pikes is a double edged sword, yes you get a more ‘seasoned crowd’ but seeing a room full of 60 year old veterans when you’re absolutely kitchen sinking it isn’t ideal either.
