Feel like some forward thinking is needed here. Let’s cut to the chase, and accept the reality of the situation. We need to volunteer Ed to go to prison now, and agree that courts are at liberty to apply additional sentences for any future transgressions we make, as they require. If we go too far, we offer the death penalty to appease them. Frankly, it’s the only fair way of dealing with it.
