ScottBailey Galaxy - The Island (Vedra Mix) was originally down to be played. He also wanted to use Donner Sumner - I Will go with You (Club 69 Trippy Dub) but it didn’t get cleared

Yeah it’s the Donna Summer track I remember reading about. Thank fuck that didn’t get included.

I’m not sure I’d heard before about the Galaxy track also being mooted. It’s a cool track, but also a bit upbeat for what is the otherwise consistently dark and moody disc 2. It’s also just not as memorable as Perception.

    xs2man Why TF would anyone not want to have their track on a GU mix, which at the time were HUGE. That pretty much guarantees immortalisation of a track.

    …immortalisation for the (however many progheads) that bought it (and still dissect it ad nauseam on here), but let’s be honest, most people will never have heard about it. Kinda understandable that Donna Summer didn’t feel she needed a career boost from a fairly niche mix album.

            Sure, but the disco influence still seems inescapable. It sounds like it belongs more on Tenaglia London. It would have derailed the mix almost as much as “I’m Free” derails San Fran disc 1.

              Still have no idea what he was thinking with I’m Free on San Fran, lol

                    ScottBailey Yeh, the Donna Summer track makes sense. Hugo has no taste so we can safely ignore anything he says on this bar what track was played when and if it was spelled correctly.

                            I guess I’ll just stick a couple self promotion materials in here to kick things off I guess, and to let people understand my style.

I do a quarterly mix for them there where the group vote for their favourite tracks over each Quarter of the year. This time, for the end of year mix I took the top 5 voted tracks from each Quarter and mixed them together to creat the “mix of the year”.
