The defence isn’t getting the same protection any more, mainly due to an ageing midfield that lacks energy, robustness and young legs that don’t have the athleticism needed.
Graham Potter’s has made Brighton one of the most exciting teams to watch in the premier league in the last 12 months with his possession based style. He’s no doubt a fine manager but squaring that with the egos and politics at Chelsea is another matter. Good luck

While the “personalities” at Chelsea could be difficult for Potter, one benefit is that their squad is already set up for the 352 which he is keen on. He should be able to get them playing how he wants without any additional signings, which is useful given that the transfer window has closed.

I honestly believe it’s too big a job for him. He’s got no experience in Europe, no experience in managing ego’s (hate this 
) like he will have to. No experience in being under massive pressure to perform immediately. No experience in rotating cunts that think they should play every game and prioritising league over Europe and Europe over league. Just too big a jump for him and also it’s pretty well known now that Tuchel was having to direct the club technically too as well as manage/coach. That’s something else he’s going to have to do. All is not well at the rent boys I’m pleased to report.
Don’t get me wrong I want him to fail and fail hard because I fucking hate Chelsea cunts but it’s a crying shame this has to happen to a future England manager. Liverpool would have offered less expectation and I believe they would afford him time Chelsea cunts won’t. Villa made even more sense to me. This just seems too much.
