I would actually watch a North vs South ‘All Star’ match, so long as 1) it was done properly, based on birth, with no foreign players involved (e.g. Raheem Sterling would always have played for the South, even when at Liverpool or Man City) and 2) there was a proper North vs South tear-up to go with it, Leeds/Sheffield United/Wolves and all the other hard as fuck northern firms joining forces to batter the southerners, with Geordies punching police horses in the background, while the Scousers mop up at the back, going through people’s pockets as they’re out cold.

I’d pay to watch that, wouldn’t attend in person for fear of mixing with / getting knocked out by people from the North.

If it replaces England friendlies…yes please
