RichM That was a superb game. Unsurprisingly our defence was not able to cope with City. Thought Philips did well when he came on
Amps RichM Thought they all did okay in defence, the issue was more in the middle as it has been all season. That said Fabinio looked better than he has done. Defo still not sure about Núñez.
ScottBailey Glad to hear England’s successful World Cup under England’s most successful manager has kept him in tip top form!
Wally Good to see the break hasn’t done the toon any harm. Nice to win a boxing day fixture for once. From 2nd bottom to 2nd top in a year. Not bad going. Looking forward to Leeds at home this weekend as I’ll be there. Hopefully they’ll be done in from Man City on Weds and we’ll tear them a new one
Mad_Cyril Was looking forward to this as first PL game for so long. Weird game, horror-show ‘finishing’ from Núñez. As soon as Agbongolahore & Macmanamanamanaman showed up hit the off button. Will wait until tomorrow
RichM alistair he is there to score goals and he isn’t doing that. I’m not convinced by him yet Am still a bit hopeful it will come good in the end though
alistair RichM neither am I fully but he always fronts up, stretches defences with his direct runs and pace and creates space for others. Can’t wait for the goals to also come
Mad_Cyril Interesting if true https://theathletic.com/4036376/2022/12/26/liverpool-cody-gakpo-transfer-2/?source=user_shared_article
Jules72 Mad_Cyril would be a bit odd for United to sign yet another winger… not what we need… plus we simply don’t have the cash right now
hugopal Jules72 Cody Cackpoo. He has a good strike on him, but the rest of his game is mediocre. I agree he’s not what Utd need. Had ten Hag really wanted him they’d have surely got the deal done.
Mad_Cyril Jules72 would be a bit odd for United to sign yet another winger… not what we need Agree with this bit. Except the winger bit. Doesn’t seem clear what his best role is, which makes me nonplussed if I’m honest. Jules72 plus we simply don’t have the cash right now Not necessarily this bit.
