Christian this whole saga has baffled me. Surely Levy would have known if Kane was interested in this a month ago. Then if so why didn’t they get the transfer done quickly, so they have a chance to replace him before the season starts.
Also Levy would never want him to go for nothing next season so trying to squeeze an extra £5-10m by dragging on this transfer doesn’t make sense. That extra money may now be spent on an overpriced last min panic buy. Lukaka for £50m?
