Wally Clearly if this deal goes through we have spent a tonne of money. But I’m guessing Klopp has been saying this based on us not having the ability to make huge signings of players that also demand massive wages.

City could probably outbid Liverpool and buy Caicedo even though they have splashed lots of cash. I’m guessing this will mean no more purchases for Liverpool.

Whilst I agree that klopp has been moaning when it’s obvious we can spend big money, I’m guessing he means there are still signings we can’t afford.

For the former, I’ll admit, we didn’t do well integrating them into first team places in years past, but as I’m sure you well know, times have changed. On top of being one of the best academies globally, we’re actually managing to utilise those players. If there is one thing Lampard did right, it was to kick start using from within.

For the latter, I’m not sure what you’re getting at. It’s not like we’re flush with old timers.

Unbroken1 The Newcastle thing is def a tad early to be complaining about, as they aren’t spending big. However within a couple of years if they are challenging for the league and CL, then I can imagine they will be spending loads on players and wages.

I’m a huge Klopp fan, but he does need to wind in the complaining about everything.
