I assume the Utd fans on here are happy with their new manager? Do you think he will make a difference? Or are Utds issues much more than who manages the club? You’ve had some top managers these last few years and none of them have been successful
Not unhappy. The alternatives were so horrifically worse, so this appointment is satisfying. Already mentioned the two I wanted ahead of him. Will be interested to see who he can get a tune out of that Bald couldn’t.

Fingers crossed. He’s already got a heck of a job in front of him to clear out the deadwood. Maybe we can just do a full team swapsies with Sporting. Throw in an extra bag of balls for good measure and to sweeten the deal.

Club has some deep rooted issues that will take a while to work out. One manager, player, exec can’t change that on their own, you’d have to be stupid to think so.
Add to that, consistently winning is statistically unpossible (unless you’re backed by a cheating sovereign wealth fund or a giraffe necked humanoid), so expectations need managing.
It is what it is, will be interesting to see how it pans out.
