Mad_Cyril you’re a visionary MC… or OGS’s crude tactics in defence and attack are merely being bailed out by a decent set of players… this in a year when there are no clearly outstanding Premiership teams and after a total shambles of an exit from the Champs League. Wolves might have lost tonight, but Nuno Santos is one example of many managers who are capable of putting a well-drilled and watertight defence together - we are still leaky and mistake prone at the back.. One thing you’re right about though is that it’s more interesting to watch than the United of previous managers.

Just don’t get the Maguire agenda at all. There are a host of legitimate reasons why Ole trusts him whatever the game, no matter how busy the fixture list is. Very good passer, leader and clears out pretty everything in the box. Sure he’s pretty slow but so what.

I’ve been holding my head in my hands ever since Utd thought the way to go was fullbacks pretending to be wingers, who were also useless in defence. We were spoilt with Giggs and Beckham ahead of our fullbacks. Ever since it’s been Valencia upon Buttner, upon Dalot all trying to be something they’re not. If we got some proper, quality width in midfield and told AWB & Co. not to cross the halfway line, EVER, we might have a chance again!
