I know we’re second but that’s because the usual top 5 or 6 are underperforming and our record against said top 5 or 6 over the past couple of season is nowhere near good enough to be challenging. We’ve relied too heavily on Fernandes, our defence and midfield is lacking in quality and we don’t have a 20+ goal a season striker. OGS has done about as well as you could expect given the squad at his disposal. Have I mentioned Woodward yet? Transfer fiasco after transfer fiasco after….. 80m for Harry Maguire. Fuck me. 😅
