Ronaldo was your biggest mistake. I said it at the time you signed him and I stand by that now.

Yes he’s scored goals, very important goals, but the whole team is bent out of shape to accommodate him.

A player with an ego like him needs a big manager to keep him in check.

Just look at the effect him coming to United has had on Fernandes - who has basically been your star man since you signed him (until this season)

Old-Dutch He’s stopped Fernandes scoring penalties. That’s about the only effect. Other than that, last I saw Fernandes was passing some ridiculous balls to Ronaldo that he was sticking in the onion bag.
I repeat, if the players around him can’t see that he’s still banging them in and they should be busting a gut to keep sticking it on his swede, that’s on them.
