I think you’re completely underestimating the ego of Ronaldo and the impact his arrogance has in the dressing room and on a team in general off the pitch.

You were playing much better football last season. The whole signing and how it happened has made Ole look like a complete cunt. He’s bren completely undermined as the manager from the board and now the team are doing the same with him.

Real Madrid are a club that have taken the absolute fucking piss whenever it comes to FFP and it has finally caught up with them. They, and Barcelona, have got away with too much shit for way too long.

As clubs, they have traded on their name and history, paying well over the odds for players and their salaries because they could. Yes, it brought success for a long time. There aren’t many clubs out there who had the money and the clout to pull in the players they could.

Long term it is no way to manage a football club and it is now biting them in the arse. Good enough for them imo.
