I can understand provincial clubs wanting to tie up with historically successful clubs like Liverpool etc, but I have absolutely no idea why you would want to associate your team with a club like Chelsea.

SI all that is a small minority in any of the 3 clubs. If people want to be proud to be British or Irish or watever it shouldn’t be seen as bitterness.

Chelsea have strong British roots in the military etc Chelsea pensioners all that so you can see why its attractive to rangers fans.
