Salah comes across as a right cunt when talks about his contract.

Clearly a greedy bastard.

Smallman1 I feel for Amorim, seems like a decent chap who’s knows his onions. They should have listened to him and let him finish the season at sporting giving him a full preseason plus transfer to impart his possession style over the Ten Fags counterattack method

Smallman1 dark times. Still, in the pub in my Utd top taking pelters. Gotta take as much as you give. Minerals.

That was grim even for United’s current standards.

Also Ed, wtf is going on at Chelsea’s, my fantasy team is taking a hit due to this poor run of form

ScottBailey the kid loaded up Mark Goldbridge on YT to show me ….I nearly passed out when I saw that he had 80,000 viewers to him just sitting there mostly in silence and occasionally moaning about zirkzee ……I cd do that with Leeds but with more defamatory swearing about the refs !!

That was pretty much the worst half of football I’ve ever seen Man Utd play.

Instead of a new manager bounce, Amorim seems to have managed the extraordinary in somehow making them look worse.

Smallman1 same could be said for you Ed, last 3 PL games lost to Ipswich and Fulham and drew against Everton. Chelsea taking tips from Utd it seems

Just checking in on Ed and all the other Chelsea fans at this very difficult moment.

Are Shit-chester Unite-the-world-in-laughter going to bounce straight back up into the Premier league after relegation, or will it take uncle jim and the lads a few seasons in the championship before they’re ready again?

Feel sorry for Three Teams Hugo, was expecting United to be firing on all cylinders by now with Zirkzee banging them in like Shevchenko in his prime Milan days.

Good to see Amorim already talking about relegation!! I genuinely thought he would be decent at Utd, but seems like every new manager makes them even worse.

RichM His tactical intransigence and lack of in game management would be a concern. Putting Rashford on the bench while not using him when the game called out for it showed naivete.

Smallman1 It’s French mate albeit without the accents. Your challenge has well and truly hit the skids. Delap gave your defenders a night they won’t forget in a hurry.

I like Delap, an old school bruiser who can play.

See Wazza’s lost his job after only 7 month down in Plymouth. Think it’s time for him to call it a day on his management dream.

AmorWRONG giving it the relegation chat is proper Hodgson territory.

Interested to see what they do in this window.

Amps He’s already said they can’t spend due to PSR, apparently.

                  What a shame.

Wally all the players they buy turn to shit the moment they arrive anyway

                    And the Glazers.

ScottBailey Joining the lengthening list of great players who failed at management. Least he gave it a proper go.

@Mad_Cyril Three points for you at the weekend? Hit us on the counter? Smash and grab win? Start our blip? King makers in the league? Or something else?

                    • Amps replied to this.

How many world class players have also made it as great* managers?

I put the asterisk in there because there is always a debate about King Kenny, whether he was a great manager or simply inherited a great side and then built another one at Blackburn with endless funds.

                      I can think of:
Johan Cruyff (European Cup win with Barcelona)
                      Kenny Dalglish
                      Franz Beckenbauer
                      Zidane
                      Mario Zagallo
                      Diego Simeone
Pep Guardiola/Antonio Conte/Carlo Ancelotti/Didier Deschamps (were they truly great players in the class of the above? Debatable, although all won a lot of caps)

I’ll throw Mancini and Vialli in there, being a little bit generous.

Brian Clough could still ping a ball even after he was balls deep on the sauce. Not sure if he’d make that list though.

I’ll also throw in Mark Hateley as a player manager.

Actually no he was fucking shit.

I reckon Kenny did more than enough with that Liverpool team to call it his own. Three titles in six years, signed Barnes, Beardsley, Aldo, Houghton, McMahon etc. He did plenty of his own work.

Anyone at Real and Barca can fuck off, it’s difficult to lose with that much cash in such a pony league. they’re not proving anything.

So, basically, Kenny and Beckenbauer. No idea how good a player Zagallo or Simeone really were. I know they were internationals, but so was Carlton Palmer.
