Amps why don’t you think it will work for him there? I think his long ball passes will enable him to do well there, and his lack of defending ability will be less of an issue. And he will probably love playing with some of those players.

It probably will, but, history tells us the ‘big moves’ don’t always work out.

Plus, there is a bit of needle here from me. I think there is a perception by footballers of Real and Barca being the holy grail of football, and I think it’s a load of bollocks.

alistair my point was also less results based. Anyone going to Real will only ever be a Real footnote. You can get more footballing adulation from other clubs if that is what you want. But yeah, I appreciate he might just want silverware, so, yeah, join the richest club in a shit league.
