Palmer always seemed to be this wild card that wasn’t actually that wild because every time he came on he did something. It was the big mark against Southgate that he would play Foden who would do nothing and then bring in Palmer who would get a goal or assist.
However, I am unfortunately with Tuchel. Palmer doesn’t deserve a place. His head is not in the right place. He’s been questionable for a while and it’s the club’s fault. I wouldn’t blame him if he jumped ship. I don’t think he will because he loves the idea of Alonso, but the England rejection will be a big kick in the balls… again, it’s the club’s fault. If he changes his mind and decides to go, ok. What a time to lose your place in the squad because of the joke of an ownership.
