Have been giving this some thought, as previously mentioned I’m a big world cup fan, and as such I think I might need a coping mechanism. My current plan is to download some mind bendingly perverse 4K grot every time there is a decent game on. Little Amps might struggle a bit mid tournament, but I’m sure we will manage.

Boycotting the Qatari World Cup in response to the 6500 deaths of the slaves who built the stadiums, Qatar’s appalling human rights record and the blatant corruption involved in winning the bid; “Oh no no no. don’t be silly. India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh? Fuck those guys!”
There was apparent “uproar” and “indignation” initially from national FA’s and sponsors when reports came out of the 6500 deaths. Not a peep from them since. If they were serious and had an ounce of morals; teams, players and sponsors would have boycotted the tournament. Yet here we are. What a kip of a planet we live on.

Add on top of that it was unimaginably hot in the time of year it should have been played so they moved it which goes against every playing season on the planet. Complete sham. There’s still time to move it, it just needs more people to be vocal about it on the right social media outlets.

Cankles-McJeggings Too late for that. FA’s, players etc had plenty of time and numerous opportunities. Nobody took a stand.
How players, fans and dignitaries can knowingly and willingly cheer/applaud and play in these stadiums is beyond me.
