Have you seen any of our games? I’m genuinely curious. If we’re going to get battered, what does that say about Mexico or the US since we’ve beat them both and finished atop of the CONCACAF qualifying group? I know CONCACAF isn’t the strongest group of nations, but we’re a decent side with some star power in our attack.
Qatar are surely much more shit than us - along with a few others who’ve qualified?
Canada (amusingly) is scheduled to play Qatar and Uruguay in Europe in the last round of tune-up friendlies before the World Cup. I’m looking forward to the Uruguay game. That should be a good test to see if we can beat Croatia.
