What does lauded even mean though? Talked about over a beans on toast dinner at the PPT? Lauded in hys rooms? Lauded or actually taken seriously? Not by the club’s themselves, he hasn’t been approached once by anyone until now and he’s only been approached this time because Chelsea are a desperate shambles and he’s had a good run over 5 matches.
It’s a huge gamble, he’s completely unproven and has, as previously stated, a less than average track record and no one with any serious intent has approached him prior to this. Wouldn’t mind betting Dyche has a better record and he has definitely finished higher than Potter has in the table and played in Europe.
