I don’t think we’ll get battered. Those two teams will proper tests of our skill, but if there’s one thing we’ve shown it’s that we’re not afraid of playing against teams that are supposedly better and in hostile territory.
Considering we’ve beaten the US and Mexico in qualifying and drew Mexico at the Azteca - who are teams ranked much higher than us - would you say the same of those two teams? I quite frankly think that we’re much better than both.
I think we’ve got a decent chance to get out of the group - albeit just barely. I’ve had the privilege of watching this team over the past four years grow, along with watching the other big name teams and we have every right to be going based on our performance.
