I will say that this heavily depends on Neville using his platform to ask difficult questions and raise awareness mind. We shall see if he bottles it.
There’s been a ‘journalist’ called Tariq Panja who writes for the New York Times who is an utter cunt. He has been on Newcastle’s back since the take over about Saudi this and Saudi that and caused no end of hassle for months (including trying to silence other journo’s asking questions about the football instead of Saudi this and that)
He did an interview with Kylian Mbappe’ - who plays for PSG who are owned by, yep, you guessed it, the Saudi state and didn’t ask him a single thing, claiming he just ran out of time. Quelle surpris.
So we’ll see about Neville. My guess is he will bottle it other than some pre-match puff piece tbh but the jury is out. But tbf, he’s not spent the last two years beating a drum about it either that I know of, other than asking some questions on Sky on occasion.
