Jules72 Still haven’t seen any credible source say Greenwood and his ex are back together…
You missed this bit?
“It can now be reported that the court heard the complainant had wished to retract her accusations as long ago as April and she attended the hearing sat alongside Greenwood’s family.”

She surely wouldn’t be sitting in court with his family if they weren’t together. They also did start following each other on instagram.
Greenwood was also known to have breached his bail conditions because they had been seeing each other again:

Jules72 it potentially matters too - if they’re back together it indicates the original allegations are true.. you wouldn’t get back together with someone who destroyed your career
That’s bullshit reasoning on your part there though:
Why did you not say “you wouldn’t get back together with someone who beat you up and tried to rape you”?!
If people on here accept that someone on the receiving end of domestic abuse sometimes does get back with their ex - then rather than it being the girl getting back with the person who supposedly physically abused them, it’d be the guy getting back with the girl who abused them by creating false allegations.
Or maybe she’d been effectively blackmailing him in to staying by threatening to proceed further with the accusations, which still would have done even more damage to him?
Maybe they’d both been abusive to each other?
It’s not to say it’s a good idea, but such things aren’t entirely unheard of.
Amber Heard begged Johnny Depp to get back together with her even after she’d faked the bruise to get the restraining order against him. Depp continued with his desire to leave, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility to consider other people can get sucked back in again.
You’re also speaking too soon in saying his career has been “destroyed” - it’s certainly been damaged, but I don’t believe it’s irrevocably so quite yet. There are possible routes back to his return.
