Unfortunately, there is a cohort of wankers who (even after Gerrard’s dreadful performance as Villa manager) believe that it’s Gerrard’s destiny to become Liverpool manager, and of course, managing Liverpool he’d be certain to win the title he never won as a player.
I know one of these wankers in my local boozer back here, tedious in the extreme, “Stevie G, laaaaa!” in a fake scouse Chester accent.
