Slow footy news week, nothing else to fill the back pages. Any other week and they would be all over Jose after the Spurs collapse, with suggestions that ‘some people’ are saying he should walk etc. But a VAR cock up is an easier story to write, we can all get behind hating the refs.
Amps there were a couple really bad calls in the derby this weekend, unfortunately…that VAR debacle and the clear red card that Pickford should have been given. Obviously, I’m not sad about those things falling our way, but I do wish we had a more clear reason to be top of the table right now.
