Where have I said that? The main question is more whether Lineker is violating the terms of his contract or not.
This whole stupid rigamarole could have been avoided if his terms had been made clearer - the BBC seem to have messed up by not making it clearer that there would be ramifications for such comments given that generally BBC presenters are meant to be impartial. If all his pay would have been immediately docked for such things he probably would have thought twice.
Or all of this is some coordinated publicity stunt.
