I think as football fans we generally think players must be playing the game because they love football and want to be as successful as they can in the game. Whereas I’m guessing a lot of football players just see it as a job, so making as much money as possible is their only priority, so they don’t give a fuck where that is.
It’s a gamble for Neves as this move may prevent him from playing at a top club in the future as he isn’t exactly going to get better playing in Saudi. But he probably doesn’t care anyway
