Amps Do Liverpool need another attacking player? He’s creative, can shoot from distance and is a bit of a set piece specialist. He could easily fit into Klopp’s system and the physical side of the Premier League shouldn’t be an issue for him. I assume Klopp will continue with the tactical setup he used towards the end of the season so it’ll be interesting to see where he fits in along side McAllister. Or is he an understudy to Salah?

Don’t be so sure… as soon as he has a working mid field again, i.e. a replacement for Fabinho now he’s fell off a cliff, I reckon Trent is going back into the defence. We’ve had a mid field issue, not a ’what to do with Trent’s talent’ issue (not that you can explain that to most Liverpool fans). I could be wrong.

Szoboslai is a right-footed, attacking midfielder - same as MacAllister basically. Don’t know how they would work in the same team.

He is definitely not a right winger so wouldn’t be an understudy to Salah.

Liverpool fans should be hoping they’ve left enough dough to at the very least also still sign a good Fabinho replacement.

Echo depends on whether Liverpool can win tight matches without his leadership qualities. Scant evidence of it so far. The fact that this guy is already Hungary’s national captain at 22 is promising.

SM001 They did improve, but I reckon it was a reeeeeally reluctant sticking plaster from Klopp. I think he’s strongly wedded to his system (why wouldn’t he be when its won him everything), and as such he will revert back to it as soon as he can. I don’t know fuck all about Szoboszlai, is it possible he can fit into our normal system?

He spent nearly half the season on the right with Leipzig. His natural position is as an attacking midfielder but he can play anywhere across the pitch.
