The only decent example really is Cruyff, after that you’re into Ancelotti, Simeone and Dalglish. Dunno how good a player Ancelotti really was, or how much you’d want to watch one of his teams, Simeone and Kenny great players but missing a European Cup from the trophy cabinet. Zidane? Brilliant player, but, not really tested as a manager, just done it with one rich club.
