RichM shame he is going to fuck up his career by joining Utd then
Ineos have been making impressive appointments and signings so far though - Berrada and Ashworth at director level, medical staff from Arsenal, RvN as assistant manager, Zirkzee and Yoro on the playing side. They’re definitely moving things in the right direction with the vast majority of their decisions so far and seem to have a sensible philosophy.
The only one which is iffy is keeping Ten Hag, but their hand might have been slightly forced with a lack of top drawer long-term managerial appointments available this summer. He’ll be gone soon enough though if their league performances don’t pick from last season and/or when someone with the profile and ability of Nagelsmann becomes available.
Worst case for Yoro he gets plenty of PL and some kind of European experience and gets sold at 22 if the club remains inconsistent on the pitch. Or things improve and he stays on. It’s not as if players like Mainoo and Garnacho haven’t been able to improve while at Utd, despite their erratic results.
