We were pretty mid first half. We both had a few chances, but a far cry from being so open last year. Would call for Brighton first half.
Second half we were the better side, but more open when we swapped Mount for irises. Second disallowed goal was a bit of a freak and likely changed the game. Brighton rallied at the end for the goal.
I’m not massively bothered, early season, neither side good or bad.
Rashford still adds nothing and the Bruno as a false nine is pointless against sides like Brighton.
Gut feel is you’ll do us over next week, unless this apparent mental block continues.
