Along_the_Wire I’ve lived in England since I was 7 - I’m not particularly nationalistic. I supported England massively until the lead up to Germany 2006 and just realised that the whole set up was just a load of shite - the players, the management, the FA structure was full of utter cunts from top to bottom. Particularly the players.
Pretty much the same, can’t bring myself to give a shit about England at all.
Particularly when most of their fans are absolute knuckle-draggers from places like Burnley and Stoke who think it’s cool to smash up foreign cities - you’re hard, destroying a Portuguese cafe owner’s livelihood.
Do love the international tournaments, you can’t beat it for a sporting event IMO.
