Was on a couple of accas with a mate. All was looking well till Spurs drew so we stuck £150 on Villa and both teams to score at 5s. From the winnings we stuck 750 on united to win and both teams to score at 3s. Also stuck a score on Brighton half-time United full time at 30-1.

Had Spurs in another acca that would have returned £2k. Withdrawn £3k and split down the middle and left the loose, (just over a monkey) for next week. Reckon it’s going on Real Vs Liverpool in one way or another lol

They haven’t really made massive transfers anyway, it’s not really the owners’ strategy, except when they absolutely have needed to e.g. Alisson and van Dijk, to fill problem positions.

I couldn’t see them signing someone like Mbappe for instance, even though his name seems to get linked with us for some bizarre reason.

alistair reading the bbc write up you would think his goal was Maradona-seque.. ““slalomed” past the entire team they said… no he didn’t - he ran around one player… that bit of skill near the corner flag was lucky that his team mate managed to get to it… I’m glad for the lad don’t get me wrong and I hope he maintains the form and can make a comeback at United, but I’d reserve judgement for a while.. can’t believe he is in the running for the Euros after such a short run of form - Southgate is a joke
