I believe Arsenal are the only team in the English football leagues to have never dropped out of the top division. Unlike Chelsea who have spent half their history in what was division 2.

I think it’s Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.

Atletico Madrid use the Spanish (Castilian) name and Athletic Bilbao have generally used the English name (English founders and a general anti-Castilian sentiment in the Basque country)

People conflate the two and seem to call both Athletico.
