Brutal on the beach works well.

Gwathmey Siegel’s Lomax House:

    Top top architecture!

    Is that your flat, Ed?

    This is it -

Glad to see you’ve got it fixed lol

    Slow progress but progress nonetheless!

’yeah, it’s all done mate. Just needs a bit of flashing around the edges (not a euphemism). That’ll be £50k please. Do you need any tarmacking done while I’m here?'

Millsy my head nearly fell off when I realised there was a sequel.

      Amps hold….the….phone…

      It looks shit though, gutted

      • Amps replied to this.

Millsy haven’t seen it in a long time, but I think it’s only as shit and daft as the original.

Amps Vernacular suggests somewhere other than the Cotswolds, possibly Shropshire way.

A quick google reveals that it’s ‘West Gate Lodge’, SP3 6SW - in the Cranborne Chase AONB in Wiltshire.

RichM that’s prob worth £1m in the Cotswolds!

benson You are missing a zero off the end

It’s not that big of a house and it doesn’t appear to have that big of a garden. The house itself doesn’t seem to have been sold in at least 30 years, but from a vague knowledge of the area and a check of others around it, I would guess in its current location it would be around £700k if in decent internal condition.

If it was rather in the Cotswolds, then depending on where exactly it would probably be a bit more, but I don’t think by a huge amount. The Cranborne Chase AONB is already fairly desirable in its own right. Obviously it would depend where exactly in the Cotswolds, but again given its size I don’t think you’d be paying much more than £1mil for it in even the most popular spots. In most parts it would still be notably under it.

And before anyone starts, here are the property weeds….

Have a day off Hugo for Christ’s sake!

              hugopal

I pity the poor cunt that would have to paint those windows

Smallman1 Have a day off Hugo for Christ’s sake!

Geez, I help Amps identify his dream house and that’s all the thanks I get?!

hugopal so I was roughly right on the price tag

RichM probably a bit on the excessive side, and certainly not worthy of benson’s interjection.

                Arthur Erickson’s Shaughnessy Place, Vancouver

A bit of a tourist trap, but thought this was quite cool

Dubman it’s just a computer graphic/mock-up, doesn’t seem like it ever got built in the end.

bosstrabs Beijing is quite interesting architecturally

+1 Social Credit Score for Dave.

Hugo absolutely FEWMIN about his deserved recent three teams/Creme Egg demolitions.

                    bosstrabs demolitions

A silly joke which I found mildly amusing is not a “demolition”.

                    FTT

                    FEWMIN Three Teams

bosstrabs That’s odd, I always thought FTT stood for Dave Fucks Transvestite Tarts.

                      a month later

Everton’s new Bramley-Moore stadium… It doesn’t do a lot for me from the outside, but the interior has some continental / German / Italian stadium vibes going on, which I’m all for.

Looks ace doesn’t it, I’ll try and get up there next season.

                        • Amps replied to this.

Amps will be great for any concerts there. Will be wasted on the football side of things though.

Suspect it’s going to feel very odd having something so good and new in Liverpool.

                          Smallman1 Looks ace doesn’t it

Right next to the river… perfect for you👌

If you went in feet first I doubt you’d get your ears wet.
